President's Message

EGECAN KOSELECI
Çekirge Rotaract President for the 2025-2026 Term

Dear Rotaract Family,

As the Çekirge Rotaract Club, guided by the philosophy of "Creating Lasting Impact" during the 2026–2027 term, we are uniting around our shared values and steadfastly continuing our efforts centered on social benefit. In line with Rotaract’s core principles, our club plans and executes its activities based on a sense of responsibility, an ethical approach, and a commitment to sustainable impact.

We are guided by the Four-Way Test in all our projects and events, ensuring that every decision we make is truthful, fair, beneficial to all concerned, and capable of making a lasting impact for years to come. We believe that lasting impact is achieved not only through the work we do but also through the values we leave behind, the lives we touch, and the people we inspire.

Rotary’s seven areas of focus form the framework of our activities. Spanning from promoting peace and protecting the environment to education, community health, and youth empowerment, we aim to develop projects that not only address today’s needs but also contribute to the future. We strive to ensure that every initiative leaves a lasting mark on society and adds value for future generations.

Another key priority for our club is to build a structure where trust-based relationships are strengthened, a culture of solidarity is embraced, and the value of collaborative creation is recognized. Through an inclusive and supportive club culture that unites diverse perspectives around common goals, we prioritize building lasting bonds that foster our members' personal growth, strengthen friendships, and carry the Rotaract spirit into the future.

It is a great honor and responsibility for me to serve as president of this club. The dedication shown by our board of directors, committee chairs, and all our members will be our greatest strength in achieving our club's goals. I wholeheartedly believe that, together, we will experience an exemplary term—one that not only delivers successful projects but also touches lives, inspires others, and produces work whose impact will be felt for years to come. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of our board of directors and committee chairs who share this responsibility with me, as well as all the club members who will contribute their efforts.

Drawing strength from the fundamental values of our Republic, we will continue to work toward creating a lasting impact—guided by a mindset that benefits society, acts with a sense of responsibility, and strengthens the Rotaract spirit day by day.

With deepest Rotaractor love and respect,

Our Seven

Priority Areas

example 5.png

Basic Education and Literacy

Globally, 775 million children under the age of 15 lack access to education. This represents 17% of the world's adult population. We support access to basic education and literacy, reduce gender inequality in education, and increase adult literacy.

Example 6.png

Economic and Social Development

Approximately 800 million unemployed people live on less than $1.90 a day. We help to promote economic and social development and create opportunities that empower individuals and entire communities economically.

example 7.png

Environmental Protection and Support

The environment is the physical, biological, social, economic, and cultural setting in which humans and other living beings maintain their relationships and interact with each other throughout their lives. Our goal is to protect and support this environment in a healthy way.

example1.png

Peace and Conflict Resolution

Strengthening peace efforts supports the creation of long-term peace in conflict-affected regions. The Rotary Peace Centers program trains leaders who will act as catalysts for local and global peace and conflict resolution.

Example 2.png

Disease Prevention and Treatment

Our health is everything, yet today 400 million people worldwide lack access to basic healthcare. We believe that everyone has a right to good healthcare. Disease results in misery, suffering, and poverty for millions of people around the world. That is why treating and preventing disease is so important to us.

example 3.png

Clean Water and Hygiene

Clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education are essential needs for a healthy environment and a productive life. When people have access to clean water and sanitation, waterborne diseases decrease, children stay healthier and attend school more regularly, and mothers waste less water and can spend more time helping their families.

example 4.png

Maternal and Child Health

Rotary provides high-quality healthcare to vulnerable mothers and children, enabling them to live longer and stronger. We expand access to quality services so that mothers and children everywhere can have the same opportunities for a healthy future.
